About this event
Dr. Yenerall will discuss his experiences facilitating experiential learning in political science at Pennsylvania Western University, both in the classroom and in internships and fieldwork. With a special focus on his quadrennial National Political Conventions class — where students complete fieldwork at the Democratic and Republican National Conventions, working with parties, interest groups, and media — and his Civil Discourse and Difficult Conversations course, Dr. Yenerall will discuss insights on combating misinformation, disinformation, and apathy, and tools to foster critical thinking and productive political engagement.
